Mic Parker - Drums/Vocals
The rhythmic time piece of ♫SMOOTH CONNECTION♫. Mic is a native of
Syracuse
New York
and was formerly trained at the Ed Acher School of Percussion and numerous workshops with the world-renowned drummer Louie Belson. Mic’s association with Bassist Louie “Lui Lui” Satterfield (Motown Records) was a catalyst in his early career to playing recording sessions with such artists as Larry Dunn (EWF), the vocal group Azzyet, The Phoenix Horns, and Cash McCall. Mic makes that ♫SMOOTH CONNECTION♫ by laying a smooth, steady tempo that is easy to groove to and pleasant to hear.
Brian Chapman – Bass/Vocals

California
and has been playing bass for thirty years covering musicals, big bands, jazz, classic rock, country, R&B and indie rock. He has performed with several popular
Orange
County
bands and recently completed recording a Gospel CD. Primarily an electric bassist, he is also accomplished on the upright bass and guitar. Brian makes that ♫SMOOTH CONNECTION♫ by playing with precision, passion and fluidity that locks the musical groove for the audience.

“Cookie” Coleman – Keyboards/Vocals

, Cookie is a member of a well respected and popular musical family known as The Coleman Reunion. Cookie studied classical violin before being introduced and receiving his first piano lesson from his father. This love affair with the piano paved the way for his extensive experience in worldwide touring, studio work, television appearances and piano teaching. Cookie makes that ♫SMOOTH CONNECTION♫ with excellent songwriting, a tender spirit and tender vocals with sometimes blazing or sometimes sweet piano work that speaks for itself. No wonder we call him “Cookie.”
Ernie Jefferson - Guitar/Vocals

as Ernie Clark, this music veteran is a former backup guitarist for Grammy Award Winning Male Vocalist of the Year Dennis Edwards (Temptations) and was also the contracts administrator for Motown Record Corporation. Ernie has opened for and/or performed with many greats such as Al Green, Jackie Wilson, Curtis Mayfield, Kim Weston and many others. He was also a member of the Harvest Crusade Gospel Choir. As a composer with strong vocals and his warm jazz style guitar playing, Ernie makes that ♫SMOOTH CONNECTION♫ by delivering in the tradition of the best old school singer-songwriter performers.
