Ernie Jefferson ♫ - Guitar/Vocals

• A native of Omaha, Nebraska reared in St. Paul, Minnesota as Ernie Clark, this music veteran is a former backup guitarist for Grammy Award Winning Male Vocalist of the Year Dennis Edwards and was also the contracts administrator for Motown Record Corporation. Ernie has opened for such acts as Curtis Mayfield, the Chi-Lites, the Bar Kays, Al Green, The Wynans, and Tremaine Hawkins to name a few. He has also backed up artist such as Barbara Lynn, Kim Weston, Maxine Brown and was also a member of the Harvest Crusade Gospel Choir. The head of a musical family, he occasionally finds himself performing with one of his talented sons - G-Quest or LAX -or backing up his daughters group, AJ3. Community minded, for many years, Ernie along with his talented gospel singing wife, Celeste, formed the popular local gospel group “Inner Spirit” and ministered in Word and song on a weekly basis at various youth authorities and prisons. He has played before large audiences in the United States and overseas. With his warm jazz style guitar playing, Ernie makes that ♫SMOOTH CONNECTION♫ by delivering in the tradition of the best old school singer-songwriter-musician performers..
